A Retreat for followers of Jesus who come from a Hindu background
What is Yeshotsav?
Yeshotsav is a Hindi play on words, meaning “Jesus celebration.” The retreat was first launched in 2014 through the prayers and efforts of a small group of South Asian believers and Bridges International staff. They saw the need for a meaningful gathering for Hindu-background believers (HBBs)– South Asians from Hindu families who were now faithfully following Christ from all walks of life (professionals, college students, families, long-time believers, and brand new believers)!
When and where is Yeshotsav 2026 being held?
When: Memorial Day Weekend (Fri, May 22 – Mon, May 25, 2026)
Where: Twin Oaks Ranch – 100 Marks Overlook, Buda, TX 78610 (Austin area)
What can I expect?
Yeshotsav’s vision and purpose has always been to build community and fellowship among Hindu background believers that encourages deeper relationships with Jesus and results in a fruitful witness for Him.
This happens through:
- Hearing from God’s word through South Asian speakers/pastors
- Sharing testimonies with one another
- Training/workshops on how to be an effective ambassador for Christ amongst family members, neighbors, coworkers, etc.
- Worship, shared fellowship over meals, group activities and games, etc.
