Let’s be honest, most of us would gladly take more teammates, but recruiting without a plan is daunting. This workshop will help you build a clear strategy for growing your local team, from mapping out annual rhythms, to pursuing new opportunities in your scope, and confidently inviting others into the story God is writing through Bridges. Come brainstorm with fellow staff, and leave with steps you can put into action this week.
5 | From Seeking God’s Will to Knowing God: A Model for Discernment | Emily Cernoia-Barkley and Vickie LaClare
This seminar on Spiritual Discernment explores Christian decision-making as both a specific practice of choosing well and an essential, daily posture of listening to God. The session moves beyond traditional, sometimes limiting models like the “Blueprint” and “Wisdom” approaches by introducing the Friendship with God model. This perspective reframes discernment as an opportunity to deepen intimacy with Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Come and be refreshed as we try out some prayer exercises that can strengthen our discernment muscles and grow our friendship with God.
